Integrity Week 2024
Integrity Week is an annual campaign hosted by the Office of Student Conduct and the University Student Judiciary to promote the importance of character, ethics, and integrity both inside and outside of the classroom. We aim to educate the campus about our values, policies, and what it means to be a community member. This year, Integrity Week is March 4 - March 8!
Win prizes while learning about campus resources on Thursday, March 7 during our Resource Rest Area event, catch a ride to class in the Conduct Cab, register to participate in one (or both!) of our Restorative Justice Circles to build deep connections with the UMD community. Follow us on Instagram (@ConductUMD) for updates and more information. All events are described below!
Restorative Justice Circle Registration
Inspired by indigenous values across the globe, restorative justice is an old but new (to us) philosophy and theory of justice. It emphasizes bringing together those affected by wrongdoing to address needs and responsibilities and to heal harm within relationships. Many people mistakenly assume restorative justice is solely a conflict resolution process that comes into play after harm has occurred, but the circle process can be preventative for future harms.
The circles a part of Integrity Week are meant to be community building spaces that embody restorative justice's philosophy as we introduce it to campus life.
Click on the card below for the Zoom date you'd like to register for. Thanks for being a part of the University of Maryland's journey in implementing a new resolution process and philosophy <3

This is our grand destination on the responsible campus journey, bringing together various departments across campus to provide a holistic perspective on leading with integrity in all aspects of life, both academically and personally.
This event will offer students the opportunity to engage with several different tables with resources (and swag!). This event aims to engage students in one space, emphasizing the complexity of developing, leading or making decisions with integrity in mind. Therefore, this event will also feature tables for students to explore their concept of self such as through discovering their personal values and defining them.

In partnership with other campus departments, we want you to be mindful of responsible ridership of micromobility vehicles (e-scooters, e-bikes, etc.) So, when you see someone using a micromobility vehicle responsibly, let us know! Both you and them may receive a prize from the Office of Student Conduct. Report responsible ridership using this form. Remember, safety starts with you!
