Office of Student Conduct Presentations

The Office of Student Conduct is now hosting interactive webinars at the start of the semester. They are designed to provide faculty, staff and students with an introduction of understanding the Code of Academic Integrity & Code of Student Conduct at UMD and more about the Office of Student Conduct's responsibility in upholding the academic standards and safety of the University community. At the end of each webinar, attendees will be able to complete a short Knowledge Check to confirm understanding of the material (Be sure to save your screenshot certificate for proof of attendance as needed).

Faculty or Staff:

If you are requiring students to attend one of our webinars for credit, at the end of each Thrive presentation there is a Knowledge Check and the students will be prompted to a screen of completion. The student should provide confirmation to you directly via screenshot, they attended one of our webinars.

If you are requesting a presentation specifically for faculty/staff training, TAs, or a specific topic (i.e. hazing prevention, ethical decision-making, etc.) complete our Presentation Request Form at least two weeks in advance. These presentations should be scheduled during normal UMD business hours of operations as we cannot guarantee staff member availability beyond that.

For Student Organizations:

The Office of Student Conduct can provide presentations on hazing prevention. Complete the online Presentation Request Form at least two weeks in advanced for a standard presentation and at least one month in advance of any customized presentation requests.
